Mobil DTE™ 846 is a superior performance ISO VG 46 turbine oil — the heavier viscosity companion to Mobil DTE 832 in the DTE 800 Series. Designed for steam turbines, gas turbines and combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) applications, especially where a heavier turbine oil viscosity grade is required by OEM specification. Based on high quality hydrotreated base stocks with exceptional thermal and oxidation resistance, outstanding deposit control for gas turbines, excellent water separability for steam turbines and a non-zinc anti-wear system for geared turbine applications. Excellent Water Separability

Exceptional Thermal & Oxidation Stability
High quality hydrotreated base stocks deliver outstanding resistance to thermal and oxidative degradation — extending oil service life in gas turbines where bulk oil temperatures exceed 100°C.
Non-Zinc Anti-Wear System
Non-zinc anti-wear additive for geared turbine load-carrying requirements — without zinc compounds that can cause deposit formation on turbine oil system components.
Salt Water Corrosion Resistance
Outstanding protection against corrosion including salt water — suitable for coastal and offshore power generation turbines and marine gas turbine propulsion applications.
