Mobilgard™ 570
70 BN two-stroke cylinder oil for slow-speed crosshead engines operating on heavy fuel oil with sulphur content up to 3.5%. No Objection Letters from MAN Diesel & Turbo, Wärtsilä and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Suitable for the majority of two-stroke engines in operation today.
Mobilgard™ 540
40 BN two-stroke cylinder oil specifically formulated for IMO 2020 compliance — vessels operating on 0.50% sulphur fuel. Balanced formulation providing both excellent acid neutralisation and outstanding engine cleanliness. Validated by WinGD and MAN Energy Solutions. Also suitable for <0.10%S with OEM guidance.
Mobilgard™ 5100
100 BN SAE 50 two-stroke crosshead cylinder oil engineered for elevated peak firing pressures and liner temperatures in modern two-stroke engines. Demonstrated performance in slow-steaming operations where corrosive wear risk is highest. Balanced formulation optimises cylinder oil feed rates while mitigating corrosive wear. Approved by MAN ES Category II, WinGD and Japan Engine Corporation (MHI).

Mobilgard™ 300 C
Next-generation 9 BN SAE 30 system oil specially engineered to improve cleanliness in two-stroke crosshead diesel engines — targeting piston undercrown deposits and crankcase sludge build-up that are the primary maintenance challenge in slow-speed crosshead engine system circuits. Used in the crankcase circuit separately from the cylinder lubricator system.

Premium 30 BN extra high performance SAE 40 trunk piston engine oil for the most severe residual-fuelled medium-speed diesel applications. ExxonMobil patented DAC (Detecting Asphaltene Contamination) test technology. Outstanding residual fuel compatibility, excellent engine cleanliness and exceptional TBN retention. Approved by MAN ES, Wärtsilä and Caterpillar.
Mobilgard™ M440
Premium 40 BN SAE 40 trunk piston engine oil for the most severe high-sulphur residual-fuelled medium-speed applications — where the 30 BN M430 does not provide sufficient acid neutralisation capacity. Maximum TBN reserve for engines burning the highest-sulphur residual fuels. ExxonMobil patented DAC test technology. Approved by MAN ES and Wärtsilä.
Mobilgard™ M330
Premium 30 BN SAE 30 trunk piston engine oil — the SAE 30 companion grade to the M430 (SAE 40), sharing the same 30 BN formulation and OEM approvals. For medium-speed engines where the OEM specifies SAE 30 rather than SAE 40. Same outstanding residual fuel compatibility, excellent engine cleanliness and ExxonMobil patented DAC test technology as the M430.
Mobilgard™ M420
Premium 20 BN SAE 40 trunk piston engine oil specifically formulated for medium-speed engines operating on 0.50% and 0.10% sulphur fuels and LNG. Proven for dual-fuel vessels — a single lubricant for both LNG and distillate fuel operation. No Objection Letters from MAN ES and Wärtsilä. ExxonMobil patented DAC test technology.
Mobilgard™ ADL 40
High performance increased dispersancy SAE 40 engine oil for high Brake Mean Effective Pressure (BMEP) medium and high-speed diesel engines on distillate and MDO fuels. Specifically developed to combat liner lacquering, piston ring groove deposits and bore polishing. Selected to lubricate the world's largest plug-in hybrid ship — Color Hybrid. Also suitable for marine gearing applications.
Mobilgard™ HSD 15W-40
Extra high performance SAE 15W-40 multigrade diesel engine oil for severe service high-speed marine diesel engines — auxiliary engines, generator sets and high-speed propulsion engines operating on distillate and MDO fuels. API CI-4 rated. Outstanding soot dispersancy, corrosion protection and cold-start performance. Approved by all major high-speed marine diesel engine builders including Caterpillar, Cummins, Volvo, Daihatsu and Yanmar.
Mobilgard™ 312 / 412
High performance 15 BN SAE 30 (312) and SAE 40 (412) trunk piston engine oils for marine and industrial diesel engines operating on low sulphur distillate fuels. Particularly effective in high-speed fishing fleet engines, severe service engines and medium-speed trunk piston engines. Superior water separation and excellent corrosion protection.
