Mobil DTE™ Oil Heavy Medium is a premium performance circulating lubricant from the Mobil DTE Oil Named Series — designed for steam turbine and hydroelectric turbine sets and other systems where long lubricant service life and excellent water separation are required. Formulated from highly refined base stocks with an additive system providing extreme chemical and thermal stability, rapid and complete water separation, high resistance to emulsification, excellent rust and corrosion protection including salt water, and good anti-wear properties. The ISO VG 68 equivalent in the Named Series. Available from Orbit Industrial — authorised Mobil distributor, South Africa.

Excellent foam resistance maintains consistent oil film in circulating turbine oil systems — preventing the bearing damage caused by oil/air mixture reaching bearing surfaces.
