Product Overview
Mobilith SHC 220 is a multi-purpose, NLGI 2 extreme pressure synthetic grease combining a high-quality PAO synthetic base oil (ISO VG 220) with a premium lithium complex thickener. Designed for heavy-duty automotive and industrial applications, it delivers the convenience of a single multi-purpose EP grease across a wide range of bearing types and operating conditions — from cold winter startups at -40°C through to continuous high-temperature operation at 150°C.
The ISO VG 220 synthetic base oil provides substantially higher base oil viscosity than standard multi-purpose mineral greases — delivering a thicker protective film for bearings operating under moderate to heavy loads. Combined with the EP additive package, four-ball weld point of 250 kgf and wear scar of 0.5 mm, Mobilith SHC 220 provides reliable protection against scuffing and adhesive wear in demanding bearing applications across mining, manufacturing and industrial fleet maintenance.
The NLGI 2 consistency is the most commonly specified grease grade — compatible with standard grease guns, grease nipples and most centralised grease systems. The lithium complex thickener delivers a dropping point of 265°C and outstanding water resistance, with SKF Emcor ratings of 0,0 in distilled water and 0,1 in synthetic seawater. Colour: Red.

SKF Emcor 0,0 in distilled water · 0,1 in synthetic seawater. Outstanding structural stability in hostile aqueous environments — the lithium complex thickener resists wash-out and emulsification, maintaining the grease film on bearing surfaces under water contamination.
