Mobilgear SHC 460 is a fully synthetic PAO (polyalphaolefin) industrial gear oil engineered for exceptional performance in enclosed gear drives requiring ISO VG 460 lubrication. Formulated from synthetic base fluids with exceptional oxidation and thermal properties, it delivers outstanding protection against micropitting and scuffing, extended oil life under extreme conditions and superior performance across a wide operating temperature range — capabilities that mineral gear oils at the same viscosity grade cannot match.
Slow-speed, very high-load enclosed gearboxes requiring ISO VG 460 where severe operating conditions, case-hardened gearing, high temperatures or extended drain interval targets demand a fully synthetic formulation.
