Types of Fire-Resistant Hydraulic Fluids
Orbit Industrial supplies a specialized range of fire-resistant hydraulic fluids designed to reduce ignition risk in high-pressure systems operating near heat sources. We offer three main fluid types to suit diverse industrial applications—from steel mills to die casting and power generation.

HFA – High Water Content Fluids
HFA fluids contain over 90% water, delivering exceptional fire resistance with added lubrication and corrosion protection from concentrated additives. Ideal for systems engineered to operate with low-viscosity fluids, HFA is commonly used in mining, foundries, and other high-risk environments.

HFC – Water Glycol Fluids
HFC fluids strike a balance between fire resistance and lubrication performance. As the most widely adopted fire-resistant hydraulic fluid, HFC offers cost-effective protection for general industrial use, including metalworking, manufacturing, and energy sectors.

HFDu – Synthetic, Water-Free Fluids
HFDu fluids are fully synthetic and contain no water, making them suitable for operations where premium lubrication, environmental safety, and system reliability are critical. These fluids are ideal for high-performance hydraulic systems in demanding applications.
