A mineral oil with excellent oxidative and thermal stability, it provides extremely long service life in the most severe operating conditions. Atexio III's operating range is between – 45 °C and + 160 °C. Atexio III provides consistent viscosity due to its viscosity index, essential for predictable shift quality across the temperature spectrum.

It acts as an excellent hydraulic fluid and surpasses the performance of most top quality Anti-Wear hydraulic fluids or motor oils. It is also suitable for use with Sundstrand, Rexnord, Vickers and Hagglunds- Denison (exept certain axial piston) hydraulic pumps.

This ATF III is superior to 10W motor oils commonly used in mobile equipment hydraulic systems, as it has better cold starting performance, superior materials compatibility and a greater resistance to oxidation.

Another benefit derived from the chemistry include improved anti-shudder properties through special friction modifiers, ensuring smooth shifting across the operating range. Furthermore, the fluid provides excellent protection against foam, corrosion, and wear, and is certified as compatible with all types of seals, which is vital for preventing fluid leaks and sludge formation.

The Rymax Atexio III satisfies the essential performance benchmarks for mass-market legacy vehicles worldwide. It meets or exceeds the core General Motors specifications, including Dexron III F, and maintains compliance with the older Dexron II E and Dexron II D standards. Concurrently, it holds the essential Ford Mercon approval, alongside legacy Ford specifications M2C 138-CJ and M2C 166-H, ensuring broad utility across transmissions and power steering systems manufactured during the late 1980s through the early 2000s.
